The brief was to turn the tired and outdated ensuite into a calm minimalist haven. Using soft textured Italianate tiles throughout the room and matching the cabinetry and painted surface colours creates a serene space to begin and end the day. Integrated sensor night lighting and placing the floor heating vent under the towel rail gives a 5-star hotel feel. Running a stone shelf through the full width of the shower creates ample storage for soap, bottles and conveniently conceals the toilet cistern, whilst matching the bench surface and splashback gives a feeling of opulence.
